In 1994, God gave Edna Hensley a vision. In that vision there were thousands of mothers with their hands raised toward heaven praying for their children. God then told her to begin the M.A.P.S. program and to hold prayer services on Fridays at noon. Each Friday praying mothers meet for the Soul Purpose of the Children.  M.A.P.S began meeting in May 1994 and incorporated in Sept 1994 as a non-profit organization.

God knows that many mothers must work on that day of the week and would not be able to attend the prayer service. That is why we set up membership agreements. This agreement states that every Friday at noon all members will pray in faith, believing in the promises of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Prayer is and has always been the weapon that God provides us with to overcome the power of the enemy. All to often, we hear heart breaking stories involving children: missing, sick, drugs, alcohol, and much more. There are so many battles that our children face and because prayer is the most powerful weapon we have as mothers, we have M.A.P.S.

We meet at 11:00 AM EST to discuss new developments in our children’s lives, share praise reports, and encourage each other. If you are able to join us through pray at the specified time (no matter where you are or what you are doing) we welcome you also.
